Rapid maintains a fleet of purpose – built mobile track mounted crushing circuits that are best suited to smaller sized crushing campaigns of less than 500,000 tonne.

They range from smaller units  comprising 42” X 30” sized jaws 54” Eljay cones and 20’ X 6’  screens. The largest mobile circuit we operate is the Metso  LT125 50” X 38” Track Jaw with the HP300 track cone.

The smaller modules in a 2 or 3 stage configuration will crush up to 300 tonnes per hour. The larger modules crush up to 600 tonnes per hour.

All track-mounted crushers and screens are self-powered with inbuilt diesel engines and hydraulics, so they don’t rely on gen set or grid power. They are easily transported and commissioned with remote controls for ease of loading and unloading from low loaders and setting up in place.

They are best suited in confined areas and in applications where the plant needs to be moved short distances during the crushing campaign.

Most mobile track crushers are imported into Australia. We have found these imported units perform  far better and more reliably when modified in our workshop to make them better suited to Australia’s harsh mining conditions.

The ability to modify and build equipment is one of the features that makes Rapid Crushing unique – we modify equipment to make it more reliable and better producing.  It makes our operation very different to the organisation that does not have the capability of modifying or maintaining  the plant themselves. We  have no need to rely upon third parties for the supply of parts or services.
